Welcome to the Troop 105 website

Troop 105 serves the Pembroke community. The troop's active and motivated scouts, leaders, and parents maintain a fun, exciting, and safe scouting program. For more information on Scouting's goals, see Joining.

Troop 105 meets Monday's (see Troop 105 calendar) from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at North Pembroke Elementary School.

When the elementary school is closed for a holiday, the troop meets at the Bryantville B/L meeting house (aka Bryantville Grange hall).

New Eagle Scout, Josh B.!

Congratulations to Troop 105's newest Eagle Scout, Josh B.!

Josh's Eagle court of honor will be held at:

Camp Kiwanee in Hanson on November 29th

Be sure to save the date!

CORI for ALL adults on outings

The Old Colony Council BSA requires that all registered adult leaders have a CORI check before working with scouts. To maintain the best possible youth protection, Troop 105's maintains a policy that all parents attending campouts and trips must be registered/CORI'd leaders.

No parent is allowed on campouts unless they have submitted a CORI form and have been checked through the BSA. See the Forms page for the CORI form.

Remember that scouts cannot go camping unless the troop has the appropriate adult leadership, which (depending on group size) is at least 6 adults on every campout.

Interested in Scouting?

Scouting reinforces the skills and values we want our sons to learn while they're having fun. Come to any meeting at North Pembroke Elementary School from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for more information or contact:

Scouting is for parents, too!
Active, committed Leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Troop. You don't need to have any special abilities to make a huge difference in a young man's life. Volunteer to help at one of our many events; you'll be glad you did!

Volunteers Needed!
The Troop 105 leaders are always looking for assistance in running a quality program for our Scouts. Ask any leader about volunteer opportunities and needs. Your Troop needs YOU!

Merit Badge Counselors Needed
Parents, do you have an interest or hobby? Then you can become a Merit Badge Counselor. There are 120 Merit Badges available to the Boy Scouts but parents are needed to help the scouts earn these badges. Come to a weekly meeting and look through the Merit Badge Library or go online to Meritbadge.com to find a Merit Badge that you could become a counselor for. To become a Merit Badge Counselor you do not need special training. You can have working knowledge or follow the subject as a hobby. Your help is needed for the scouts to earn Merit Badges needed for advancement. If interested in becoming a counselor contact Mr. O'Melia or Mr. Skolnick
