Policy Discussion: Fundraising and Picture Posting:

Group discussed a policy question: What are options for scouts/families that want to "opt out" of troop fundraisers? (bottle bin, pop corn booth, etc...) Group resolved that scout/families must participate or pay "full freight" (no troop subsidy) for outings Group agreed to support pop corn booth operation and directed David S. and Laurie B. to pursue getting booth locations for pop corn sale and will set up staffing schedule for scouts at booths; a future meeting topic will be to establish the troop's incentive plan for booth sale Group discussed policy question: How will photo publication be handled on the on the troop website or other websites? (ClarkColor.com) Group resolved that Steph S. will set up Group Pages on ClarkColor.com and that troop members will post their pictures to that site; Steph S. will send around info on the Group Pages when they are set up; David S. will post info on the troop website concerning picture posting to ClarkColor.com; David S. will talk with Lisa Z. about getting existing parental permission files and will ask Matt M. to get any additional permission forms from newer scouts

Bottle bin and fund raising everyone must participate in order to have the benefits of troop paying for scouts and leaders to go camping and outings. Anyone not, must pay their own way.
